Since 2019, we have been welcoming guests from near and far to Lungern, located 715 meters above sea level. Fall in love with this place, where the lake and mountains set the pace. Here, your day begins with fresh Alpine air and ends with the play of colors as the sun sets over the incomparably deep-blue water.

We're coming by car. Is there parking?
Of course, you can park your car in the hotel’s free car park, which is located right in front of the entrance. Additional parking spaces are available on the other side of the station.
We’re arriving by train—how do we find our way to Emma’s Hotel B&B?
It’s really easy—Emma’s Hotel B&B is right next to the Lungern train station. You can’t miss it.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
You can check in at any time starting at 3:00 p.m. at the self-check-in kiosk located at the entrance via the footbridge from Lungern Station, where you will receive your key card. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.

When is the breakfast buffet open?
At Emma’s Hotel B&B, we serve a hearty and healthy breakfast buffet daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Our little dog would also like to explore the Lungern vacation region with us—can he come along?
Clean, well-behaved dogs no taller than 50 cm are welcome here, but must be registered in advance. Only one dog per room is permitted. Out of consideration for other guests and for hygiene reasons, we cannot allow pets in the breakfast room. We charge CHF 20 per night for a dog’s stay.
Are drinks and snacks available?
The coffee bar next to the front desk is open in the morning from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There, you can enjoy a variety of coffee and tea specialties, soft drinks, wine, and spirits. At the VOLG on Main Street, there are also vending machines offering snacks and drinks for when you’re on the go.
Is there an elevator for heavy luggage or a wheelchair?
You can easily reach every floor, from the basement to the top floor, by elevator. Before check-in (starting at 3:00 p.m.) or after check-out (starting at 11:00 a.m.), you may store your luggage in our luggage room.
Sustainability is a topic close to my heart—what is Emma’s Hotel B&B’s stance on this?
Sustainability is also important to us. Daily room cleaning is not necessary in most cases, as it consumes water, electricity, and resources such as trash bags, cleaning supplies, and linens—all of which could be conserved for the sake of the environment. Therefore, if you’re staying with us for more than one night, you have the option to book daily room cleaning with bed-making. Otherwise, the room will be cleaned after your departure. Our cleaning products are made from all-natural ingredients and are 100% biodegradable. You’ll also find soap, shampoo, and shower gel in refillable dispensers in your room. We source locally whenever possible and use products from the region. We also support local culture and community organizations.
When is the front desk open?
Our on-site reception desk is staffed every morning from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
